New Recipe

I just made the best beef stew that i have ever had! i found the recipe online, but have tweaked it a bit, as i always do. Please enjoy, and let me know what you think!

Apple Cider Beef Stew (crockpot)

2lb stew beef
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3 med apples, chopped (i used cortlands)
8 carrots, chopped
6 med potatoes, cubed
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp rosemary
2 tsp garlic powder, or 2 cloves garlic minced
1 bay leaf
2 cups apple cider (apple juice may work too)

layer onion, carrots, apples and potatoes in crockpot. Toss meat in 2 tbsp flour, brown lightly in a pan, then add to crockpot. sprinkle spices over the top. Pour cider over everything. cook on high for 6-7 hours or until veggies are tender. may have to add a bit more flour to thicken at the end
